This website is operated by Nicole Butcher trading as Spik & Span Cleaning ("I", "me"), Jim Mollison Ct, Mildenhall, Bury Saint Edmunds IP28 7QP. I am committed to protecting your personal information and being clear about how it is used.

What information I collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number and email address when you enquire or book.
• Property details: the address of the property to be cleaned and anything you tell me about it (e.g. pets, access instructions).
• Payment confirmation: if you pay online by card, the payment is processed by Stripe. I never see or store your card details; I only receive confirmation that a payment was made.
• Account details: if you create a customer account, your name, email address, phone number (if given), a securely encrypted version of your password, and any cleaning requests you make through your account are stored so you can log in and see your bookings. You can ask me to delete your account at any time.

The quote form on this website does not store anything on the site itself. It simply opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message ready to send.

How I use your information

• To respond to enquiries and provide quotes.
• To arrange, carry out and invoice cleaning services.
• To keep records required by law (e.g. tax records for HMRC).

I will not send you marketing messages without your consent, and I will never sell your information to anyone.

Legal basis

I process your information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you (providing cleaning services), and in some cases to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

Who I share it with

• Stripe, which processes online card payments (see Stripe's privacy policy).
• No one else, unless required by law.

How long I keep it

Enquiry details are deleted if you do not become a customer. Customer and invoice records are kept for 6 years as required by HMRC, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or ask me to delete the personal information I hold about you, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of these rights, contact me using the details below.
